The MAX1458 Automated Pressure-Temperature Test System Concept and Schematic - According to the MAX1458 Datasheet, this device is an Analog Sensor Signal Conditioner designed to produce an

MAX1458 Automated Test System Schematicautomated pressure-temperature test system with integrated callibration and temperature compensation.

The figure below displayed this Automated Test System Concept. A concept for a low cost test system capable of testing up to 12 transducer modules connected in parallel.

It includes a dedicated test bus which consists of 2 (two) power supply line, an analog output voltage line from transducer to system digital voltmeter and two serial interface line (DIO and SCLK).

The MAX1458 can be used for parallel connections of transducers since it has three state outputs on the device.

If you want to make a simultaneous testing with 12 MAX1458 sensor modules, you can use buffer to solve the overloading data bus. Then for each transducer, a digital multiplexer will control the chip-select signal.
