- The LM35 is one of an integrated-circuit temperature sensor that can be glued or cemented to a surface then its

temperature will be within 0.01 C of the surface temperature. Below is the LM35 circuit diagram of Bar-Graph Temperature Display or Dot Mode (click to enlarge)

It is noted from the LM35 datasheet that you should held at the same temperature as the surface when you leave the device for wiring it or you may cover up the wires with a bead of epoxy which will insure

the same temperatures of the leads and wires, hence the LM35 die’s temperature will not be affected by the air temperature.

Within the datasheet you will find sections such as Temperature Rise of LM35 Due To Self-heating, LM35 Typical Application Circuit Diagram (Two-Wire Remote Temperature Sensor,

Fahrenheit Thermometer, Serial/Paralel Temperature To Digital Converter, LM35 With Voltage-To-Frequency Converter And Isolated Output).
