Ohm’s Law in Series Circuits for Automotive Troubleshooting - The herein schematic appears Ohm’s Law in Series Circuits to predict the behavior of electricity in a circuit for example in automotive circuit troubleshooting.

Ohm’s law defines that the current (I) through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the potential difference or voltage (E) across the two points, and inversely proportional to the resistance (R) between them (wikipedia.org).

Ohm’s Law can be used to troubleshoot series circuits in automotive purposes for such poor connections and faulty components can increase resistance, more resistance means less current and higher voltage means more current (remember E/R=I),

high current can affect circuit operation (blown fuses, premature component failure, and less current affects the operation of the loads (dim lamps, slow running motors).
