MC33099 for Three-phase Alternator Automotive Voltage Regulator Circuit System
- The schematic above shows a simplified application of MC3309 Alternator Voltage Regulator. 

It is designed with level shifting resistors for controlling voltage in 12V three-phase alternator with a rotating field winding automotive system.

The use of MC33099 in automotive provides Alternator’s Load Response Control at low engine RPM to eliminate engine speed hunting and vibration. 

The MC330099 also generates analog or digital duty cycle control of ON/OFF ratio of the alternator at fixed frequency.
